Have you ever gotten something so special that many people or, perhaps, just one person said you didn’t deserve it?  Maybe they couldn’t believe that you had gotten something so nice…after all, weren’t you the one who messed up?… the one who caused so much trouble for… the one who lied to… the one who ran around with…. the one who grew up in… the one who fooled around with… the one who backstabbed… the one who lost all…. the one who gave into… the one who couldn’t keep up with… the one who cheated…. the one who talked about… the one who no one ever thought would actually… – weren’t you the one

How did you get that job?…that life…. that husband…. that wife…. that gift?…. that talent?…. that home?… that palace?… that party?…. that joy?…. that sass?…. that toy?… that humor?…. that laugh?….  that baby?…. those abs?….  How did you get that good thing, may I ask?

When confronted with this question, throw this pie in their face, “Just one word for you, dear,  grace,… grace,… and more grace.”

God does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.  For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Psalm 103: 10– 12 NIV

I am so grateful for the goodness of God!
